Erica Hager grew up in Santa Rosa, CA, and graduated from the University of Mary in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business communications, and in 2006 with a master's degree in management. Erica learned to sew in a junior high home economics class, and learned to quilt in high school, developing a life-long love of sewing and fabric. She is the founder of BisonBooties, which she owned and operated from 2010 to 2022, manufacturing soft-sole baby booties and slippers. BisonBooties were sold around the world, and the brand was a finalist for the Martha Stewart American Made Award, and were featured on hit TV shows, in national magazines, and seen on numerous celebrities. She and her husband Corey have five children and enjoy traveling near and far.
