Fr. Shane Campbell has been our pastor since August of 2011. He was born in Bismarck and graduated from St. Mary's Central High School in 1987. He then attended the University of North Dakota and graduated with a B.B.A in Finance in 1991. In 1995, he entered Cardinal Muench Seminary in Fargo, where he completed his Pre-Theology work. He graduated in 1997 with his B.S. in Philosophy.
After Cardinal Muench, he decided to take some time off from the seminary and entered the working world. He worked in the computer software field for companies in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Colorado.
In 2004, he decided to re-enter the seminary and four years later graduated from St. Paul Seminary and was ordained to the priesthood on April 26th, 2008, for the Archdiocese of St. Paul, MN. After ordination, he was assigned to Epiphany in Coon Rapids, MN, where he was Parochial Vicar for 2 years. Then he was moved to St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Woodbury, MN as the Parochial Vicar. He spent 1 year there before transferring to the Diocese of Bismarck for his first assignment in the Diocese to the Church of St. Joseph in Mandan, ND.
