At Saint Joseph Catholic School, we are serious about the formation of the whole child. Education is not soley the communication of theories, principles, and knowledge. It is about feeding our dear children's minds, bodies, and souls.
St. Joseph School has been educating children for over a century. At the beginning of the fall 2020 school year, St. Joseph’s School will transition the learning center and the K-5 school into Montessori classrooms. We will be adding a second Children’s House, a lower elementary classroom (grades 1 – 3), and an upper elementary classroom (grades 4 – 6). As well, the third floor of the school has become a Montessori lower adolescent school (grades 7 – 9) and upper Adolescent (grades 10-12) called School of the Holy Family (See School of The Holy Family on the top of the page for more information).
The school will be in session from 8:40 am – 3:20 pm Monday through Friday. Before care will begin at 7:30 am. After care ends at 5:30 pm. We start the day with morning prayer in the Church, initiate the lunch period at 11:40 a.m. with the Angelus, and end the day with a short prayer. On Fridays, we will be saying the all school Divine Chaplet at 2:50 pm. All school Mass will be at 2:30 pm on Thursdays.
